'cookie law'

Some of you may be aware that new EU regulations came into force during the weekend just gone, regarding how websites use cookies.

As things stand, very few websites - including all the govt websites - have actually implemented anything to comply with these new laws. The only website I've seen doing anything so far is the BBC website.

eFestivals is doing all it can to comply with this law, but currently some of the websites eFestivals partners with don't have their own solutions, which means that eFestivals is not able to offer a full solution. However, things are moving forwards with these issues and its hoped that I'll have a full solution that complies with this 'cookie law' in place within 2 weeks.

If these issues are a concern to you, please keep your eyes on the eFestivals Privacy Policy page which will be updated when the solution is put into place.

Apologies for the delay with this.

The delay has been caused because I've been waiting for a 3rd party to provide their part of the solution so eFestivals is able to comply with 'cookie law'. They've now provided that solution but I'm waiting for a little clarification about something before I'm able to put the full solution in place.

I very much hope that by this time tomorrow I'll be rolling out everything so that it's sorted.
