V Festival 2012, sponsored by Virgin Media, is back for its seventeenth year and we are delighted to announce Tom to the line-up.

Taking place at the two festival sites in Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshireacross the weekend of 18^th and 19^th August 2012, Tom will be sharing the stage with some other amazing acts such as, Snow Patrol, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Tinie Tempah, Example, Ed Sheeran, James Morrison, The Proclaimers, Noah and the Whale and The Stranglers.

Over the festival weekend there’ll also be sets from David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, Nero, Keane, Madness, Friendly Fires, Happy Mondays, Professor Green, Emeli Sandé, Ben Howard, Noah & The Whale, The Temper Trap, LMFAO, Rizzle Kicks, Frank Turner, Labrinth, The Enemy, Maverick Sabre, Miles Kane, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Lissie, Mike Snow, Kelly Rowland, Dappy, Shed Seven, The Ting Tings, The Human League, Frank Ocean, Pixie Lott, The Stranglers, Inspiral Carpets, The Rifles, and DJ Fresh. Guess it's accidental

or just completely wrong.

There was definitely no press release sent out with those names on, so it's best to presume as a fake or mistake until you see it official anywhere.

Seems weird that they are still on the stage breakdown then

that's the lack of joined-up thinking that's pretty common in the world of paid-for publicity companies.
