According to Miles LSP are writing a new album this year with Arctics taking the year off (apart from the odd festival appearance outside of the UK) do you reckon they're in with a chance to play? or is it still a no chancer with Alex not liking the set in 09?

No idea tbh, wasn't aware that they were doing anything - but I don't buy into the 'Alex not liking his last set' very much (somebody give me the actual link), at least in the sense that it'll put him off playing ever again. He's played the fest 4 times now and he seems a decent enough guy - If Last Shadow Puppets get offered a suitable slot and they pay him I reckon they would.

I don't know much about the reasons behind it but everybody on here seems to say that. I could be very wrong and he was happy but i'm pretty sure that somebody on here showed proof of this. I hope it is wrong though because they would be awesome!

Is it just me that thinks that LSP is easily the best thing Turner has done, the debut album far surpasses anything that the AM have ever released.

i'd say that all the stuff that he has done are all brilliant in there own way, every AM album is different yet all very good. LSP is also very good and is different to the AM sound. Everything that man touches turns to gold!

the Arctic's have been hit by colossal global warming the last few years it seems, melting into the sea or boringness. were as Miles Kane has blossomed the last few years, sounding very fresh and dynamic(getting Noel gallagher in on his album) plus his live performance's are mega.

i think Miles would be wise to stay away, he's better off without Alex, form a purely musical point of view .
