has the mud dried out at all?

Hi all, new poster and hate to bring up the mud again. Our family is traveling down tomorrow and slightly worried about how slippy conditions are. My son broke his arm a couple of weeks ago and is in a plaster cast and sling, he has to keep the cast dry and worried about him falling over in the mud. The pictures in some of the news websites make site conditions look pretty horrendous, but obviously they want a "muddy glastonbury" story so am wondering if they are just showing the really bad bits and getting around is better than it appears. Or am I being too optimistic We have been to Glasto in 09 and 10 so apart from the Friday in 09 we haven't experienced really bad mud as yet.

There is alot of mud on site but it's pretty easy if you stay around the main areas. The park and shangri la are messy. Wellies or good boots are essential

It has been dry, sunny & windy all afternoon in Glastonbury [town]. Experience tells me that the damage done to the Gate areas would need a heatwave to fix and we haven't had one of those. So go prepared for muddy conditions on entry.
