Dissertation ideas.

So today I got my first book for reading around my dissertation topic. I thought you guys are generally more political aware than most people and there is never enough political posts on here. I'm writing it broadly on anarchism and environmentalism and how they sort of go hand in hand and maybe the ways in which capitalism prevents it. Pretty broad at the moment, but does anyone know of any environmental projects which are run by a community? I have a couple of examples in mind but just thought I'd see if anyone knew of interesting ones? Also if anyone knows anything on the subject can anyone think of anything to make it more original?
