Getting there before my coach

I've got a combined coach ticket (only ones left when booked), so I am going there. Coach is on Thursday morning, if I turn up on Wednesday and go to the ticket office and say look I'm here now, you reckon there is any chance of them giving my ticket then?!

I believe you get your ticket on the coach. Also, is there even a ticket office on site?

Tickets are now with the actual coach operators not the festival and are handed out by the driver somewhere along the route to Pilton. Miss the coach - miss the festival.

My mate was wondering this as well. He got his ticket in the final resale after all our group had already got theirs. He's supposed to be getting the coach from Manchester, and we were wondering whether they distribute the tickets on the coach or whether they arrive in the post with your coach tickets. Seems ridiculous to give some random National Express dude 50 peoples Glastonbury tickets, no?

You only get the coach ticket in the post. The festival coach is given to you once aboard (supposedly once you've started moving but I'm not sure how that works unless the driver has a helper?).

I don't know about Glastonbury but a few years back I went to Leeds Fest on the joint coach and festival ticket.

There were all warnings about if you're not on your coach you won't get a ticket.

I didnt even get on the right bus but when I got there they just put all the unclaimed coach tickets at the ticket office for people to collect when/if they arrived (mine included).

I've had a Glas coach and ticket package before and we we're about half way though the journey when they gave the tickets out. It was when we stopped for a break.

I really would not risk it to be honest get on the coach on the way you could always make your own way back after the festival.

Theres an FAQ on this somewhere on the glastonbury website........ the tickets are with the coach driver..... HOWEVER you can collect your ticket at the ticket office on site but ONLY after the coach has arrived, presumably uncollected tickets are given to the ticket office by the coach driver..
