Sunday was wet until late afternoon,I'm just hoping for a dry weekend would be good if it was as nice as 2008

The weather can make the difference between a good festival and an amazing festival!! I'm praying for sunshine at Rockness...and would happily swap it for rain every weekend the rest of the summer!

Here's what's happened the past few years ....i think.

2007: SAT - really sunny, SUN - overcast but dry

2008: Sunny the whole weekend, i came home with a nice wee tan (can remember coming out after seeing Simian and it was proper scorchio ! ).

2009: Dunno - i turned into a cripple that weekend due to too much of the bad stuff !

2010: FRI - wee bit of sunshine and dry, SAT - Cloudy but dry, SUN - rain until mid afternoon

2011: ????????

Hi there newbie Mac here just been to the Army and Navy store SO ths years wet weather attire is a rubber poncho must be a XXXXLarge, insulated wellies, bushman hat, suncream, shorts that should about cover it. and a clean pair of knickers

What's with all the panic? Even the weather forecast a week before the festival is usually wide of the mark so I wouldn't read in to it to much just now ppl

I just want it to be dry for setting up the tent. not too bothered after that!

Its Scotland so even the forecast the day before the festival cant be trusted!!!

Too early to look at this.. last year it was predicted to be glorious sunshine at this stage, and it wasn't in the end..

even a week is stretching it really and its still 9/10/11 days to go till the actual days.

Guys seriously, you are wasting your time even looking at these things just now.......trust me I've done it for about the past 6 or 7 years and the only time you get a reliable prediction is 2 days beforehand.
