I know we are still 25 days away, but it is now that time where weather reports, as sketchy as they may be, are starting to become available... i have franticly been searching met check, bbc weather ect ect but all i can find is rain coming of the Atlantic and a wetter that normal June:( has anyone else seen anything that's a bit more optimistic?

Maybe not so much more optimistic, but this one will update every 6 hours looking 16 days ahead:

BBC has their month ahead guesses - http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/10209?state=mp:B

For the beginning of June: "Model output points to average temperatures in eastern Scotland and above average elsewhere. It also suggests rain above average in northeast and southwest England. Sunshine is forecast to be above average in the north and east of Scotland, and average elsewhere."

Which does sound promising...

The weather isn't that important - how I see it.

Cold, Muddy, Rainy - Drink more for warmth - slide around in the mud for fun - easier to keep your beers chilled.

but... despite this - I'll still be hoping for dry and warm lol

Too true!!

Last year was the exception it is usually always a nice sunny weekend. but 2010 as a whole was a pretty pathetic year weather wise and if Easter weekend is anything to go by, then this year is already looking up.

the weather has never been really bad at rockness, just hasn't always been good.

i think last year was probably the worst. if i remember right i think it pished down for ages one day, maybe the sunday?

i'd love it if we had weather like 07 again, but i'd be quite happy if it just stayed dry.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
