4 weeks tomorrow

Where has everyone gone? with only 4 weeks and 8 hours till i set off for the hallowed ground i am just starting to get that excited feeling in my stomach even at 43 years old.My list is made, some items bought,tent checked and repacked, trolley oiled and i just hope the van passes it's mot as i don't want too much expense before Download and Glastonbury.

So heres to another classic Download and roll on the 8th of June.

My excitement levels arent very high strangely enough, but I think its due to my not relishing leaving work alone for a few days.

I dont think I will be excited until I finish work on the wednesday, then its usually unbearable!

Pretty much the same as above for me. I have too many uncertainties in my life at the moment that are preoccupying my brain and not allowing me to focus on excitement (for example my knee is f**ked at the moment and Im in a race against time to get it better before Download - so if anything 4 weeks is a daunting prospect rather than an exitement inducing one!)

4 weeks, can't wait, just rang my mate to see if we are getting minibus down as usual and during the convo I said its only 4 weeks away and he was shocked, thought it was way longer. It is coming around nicely!!

I can't wait either now I have my ticket - just makes it all seem like it's going to happen again!!! Spoke to my mate yesterday to arrange the pick up times etc so B-R-I-N-G I-T O-N!!!!!! \m/

Bought my ticket yesterday, not got any sort of anticipation though yet.

Not sure I get excited for festivals anymore, last years Download didn't blow me away or anything so I'm lowering expectations I guess.

I will be when I have it in my hand! Just things I need to do for it, Tent, Cash and food... As well as cash for other things like UNI and Soni! So having no cash is not making my mood lighter!

I think Im in the same boat as some of the others - too busy, too pre-occupied with other things, Im slightly concerned that I haven't started looking at my gear yet to see what needs replacing and worried about where the money's going to come from to pay for it all. :¬S

That said, in 4 weeks today I'll be hopping about being impatient for Alter Bridge, so it's not all bad

Gonna miss Download this year. First time i have not been since 2003, but the lineup this year just does nothing for me.

Im gutted really. Was gonna go just for the atmosphere as i love it, but due to uni fees, and travelling i have noooo money.

Just hope Sonisphere lives up to Download.
