Booking Citylink bus

I've bought a ticket that includes the shuttle bus to and from Rock Ness. I was just wondering how you go about booking it on the Citylink site, is there a code I put in somewhere or something?

You should of got an email from AEG with a code and step-by-step instructions on how to get it.

I got my email pretty soon after I booked my ticket so I'd check your email and your Spam/junk folder.

I am not sure if you will get the option but if you do.. then do not select an open return ticket!

We had an awful experience in 2008 getting back to Edinburgh as the ticket we bought was an open return meaning that we could get back on any of the two buses that were running that morning but when we got to the gates we were told we could not get either of the buses and that a separate bus was coming for open return ticket holders, that bus did not turn up until well after 1pm! We waited over 3 hours in the heat with no water and alongside alot of very angry people.

A bloody nonsense! So avoid this situation if you can

damn! think i've already booked that one hopefully its not the same this year anyway.

I assume that when travelling on the Citylink buses they have places at the bottom bus for all your stuff aye? don't want to be sitting all squashed to funk

Bought my ticket at the start of March and can't seem to find any email from AEG. Only one from them is telling me about an announcement to the line-up (start of April). Is it normal for them to take this long to send one? Seeing as it is only a month away, I'd like to be able to start planning times and stuff with my mates sooner rather than later.

when my mate bought his ticket aeg "forgot" to send him the email about the free bus all together. He ended up just buying one seperate.

I dont know why so many folk use the Shuttle Buses. Every year we get the train up, and jump straight into a Taxi which usually costs around £20 and divided by 4 thats a fiver each. No hassle and a 15 minute car journey later your at the drop off point.

What's the number you phone for AEG? Still haven't got my Citylink code.

this is a massive farce by citylink. I have phoned various times about receiving the code and although ensured over the past 5 days that it would be in the next '24 hrs' still nothing.

Better be sometime today.

anyone know if you need to enter your card details as well to use the voucher code on citylink? wont let me continue to the next page without them. There website is utter pish!
