The Stranglers, The Damned, Kate Rusby, Lau, Pikey Beatz, The Travelling Band, 3 Daft Monkeys, Bikini Beach Band, Roomful of Mirrors and The Wierdstring Band (the latter two under the 'Mostly Acoustic Cumbria' banner on the Drystone Stage)...

gotta say i did look at these with a tinge of jealousy as ive got tickets for kendal calling, stranglers and cast spring to mind off the list. Seems a good line up, you think its better than last year though ?

Yeah, I do. Maybe just my personal taste but there's far more bands on that line-up that I want to see than usual, at Solfest or most other festivals come to that!

Get a Solfest ticket too, go on...

Early-bird tickets for Solfest sold out in record time this year, I think the last ones were swooped on just after the initial line-up anouncement. Apparently there will be more great bands announced over the coming weeks. And the full-price tickets are only £89, very bargainacious for a festi that lets you take your own drink, has no crazy arena policy, and if you do run out has a sensible bar charging sensible prices

T'was lovely to be at Bearded this year, we had an amazing time, but now are looking forward to Solfest 2011 even more than ever!
