What to expect?

Alright Guys,

First post so bear with me, been a reader of the forum for a wee while so thought I'd get involved.

Been to the Ness before but never camped, How is it? Heard it can get fair packed in like sardines so contemplating buying a VIP camping this year. What you guys think is it worth the extra dosh? Any info on the food, camping area, site etc would be top notch.

General camping is where the atmospheres at

Camped at numerous festivals - found Rock Ness to be one of the better for not being packed in.

Last year we camped a little on the outskirts & have a shit tonne of space around us.

Space isn't an issue at RockNess

The campsite is definitely big enough, everyone generally wants to be in yellow though.

There's plenty space in the campsite, i wouldn't bother with VIP.

Camping at Rockness is generally a good experience. The last three times we have been able to camp in pretty much the exact same spot. Unfortunately last year we camped next to a group of twats... they kept jumping on top of our tent and pushing their inflatable couch onto it when I was trying to sleep.. after several attempts to reason with them through the tent door.. I got out and confronted them only to have a camping chair thrown at me!

There is a large variety of food, but as usual, expensive! Just take plenty spending money!

Arena is totally changing shape including Nesstival.

Saying that, I quite enjoyed the two camp rivalry! Posh camping vs. Slum camping!
