Wouldn't A Folk Opera Be Perfect For EOTR?

My favourite album of 2010 was Hadestown by Anais Mitchell. For those who have not heard it is a folk opera with different vocalists playing/singing the parts of different characters. Anais is currently on tour in the U.K.

Wouldn't it be amazing to see this peformed on the Garden Stage or in The Big Top? I know it would be difficult to get the original singers over but it would be so worth it if Ani DiFranco, Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), Ben Knox Miller (The Low Anthem), Greg Brown and co could also play individual sets during the weekend as well as performing with Anais.

Obviously it would be difficult to get them all in the one place at the same time but the current tour has replaced certain singers with other artists (such as Wallis Bird for the Glasgow show).

I really think EOTR would be the only festival that could actually pull this off.

I only just discovered this album this weekend. A few tracks in and I was already hunting for live dates, and completely gutted to discover that it's being performed in my favourite venue (Union Chapel) on Tuesday, and that tickets are sold out.

I've listened to the album about five times already in the past couple of days and love it, so please EotR give me another chance at seeing it live!

When was this out? Tried to get it off Amazon and says it's released August 2011? Am I going mental?!
