2009: Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead

2008: Rage Against The Machine, The Killers, Metallica

2007: Razorlight, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins

2006: Franz Ferdinand, Muse, Pearl Jam

2005: Pixies, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden

2004: The Darkness, The White Stripes, Green Day

2003: Linkin Park, Blur, Metallica

2002: The Strokes, Foo Fighters, Guns N' Roses (Leeds only), The Prodigy

2001: Travis, Manic Street Preachers, Eminem

2000: Oasis, Pulp, Stereophonics

1999: The Charlatans, Blur, Red Hot Chili Peppers

Most if not all follow this trend, 2000 and 01 maybe not but nif you class RHCP as a old band then maybe

'02 Can see where you're coming from possibly if you include G'N'R

'04 Hardly call Green Day old/classic at that time

- Indie headliner (Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Razorlight, Franz Ferdinand)

- Huge arena-type headliner (Guns N' Roses, Kings Of Leon, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse)

- 90s Alternative headliner (Blink 182, Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam)
