I merely meant Your Majesty that one seemed to be saying that one had been backing big priced winners, but making the announcement after the equines had won ie backfitting.

Your Majesty is surely aware of this phenonemon on the various Newsgroups concerning The Sport of My Husbands for example:

I hereby state that I indeed wagered 100guineas on Hoof Hearted and it verily romped home at 16/1. I do agree my fellow gambling men, that maybe I should have posted this before the race... but I care not, for I am now a deal richer and only back winners. ;)

Aye..there was this bloke on The NG that used to do it all the time..posting his selections after the f**kin races!! Always saying that they were before...but it was a problem with the servers clock or summat.

Howvever... I do commend thee on some astute picks over the last weeks, and I agree with you...f**k laying and all that Over/Under Plus/Minus shite.

For tomorrow:

Might have a few others just on the nod depending on how they do, probably the Racing Post Trophy at Donny.

They're not really tips, although I do quite fancy Whispering Gallery. Lanfranco would be riding him but he's at Doncaster so Disaster is on board.

Cheventon is second favourite (at 10's!) behind the well fancied Harry Patch (4's) but he got up really well under Dale Swift to win his last one a short time ago. The Racing Post reckons its too high in the weights and too slow a starter to beat Harry Patch - what'da them chancers know!

    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
    • I'm definitely not camping 🙂.  My 17 year old Daughter and her friends are there 3 days and commuting back to Sheffield each day as didn't want to camp .  I am taking and picking up the Saturday so thought I may as well get a ticket as love Fontaines DC - need to do a lot of research on the other acts though to fill my day.    I walked through the camp site other year the day Arctic Monkeys played and it was like a War Zone.  My Son has camped a couple of times but didn't fancy my Daughter staying over.
    • Not at all impressed with Polanski saying "noone should be barred from public life" wrt the Tory neo-nazi. I really don't think "no nazis in politics" should be an excessive standard.
