Orange Funfair

I've camped in Orange Funfare for the past 4 years and never ever had any problems at all but this year it was full of dickheads. A particular group that thought it was ace to pinch other peoples chairs and burn them and have every* fire put out by the CATS and even after i told them they had been stealing the chairs nothing was done. The supervisor or whatever of the CATS knew about 6 english words. Also someone decided to put a pole in a fire get it reet hot then burn a hole threw my friends tent, there was absolutly no need. Time to call it a day or time to camp somewhere else?

A lot more dick heads overall I think. We was camped in orange d. Still enjoyed ourselfs, had incredible time but I can do without the dick heads. Was planning on staying the Sunday night but ended up coming home after guns when we seen the state the campsite was getting in on Sunday morning/afternoon. Its funny throwing opened tins a food at people and their tents, then after that throw shit and when I say shit I mean shit! Set of c**ts

I think half the problem this year was people came with the sole purpose of going nuts

I must of heard of over 100 people talking on the Thursday about how they didnt know a single person on the line up or had not even seen the lineup, on the sunday nealy one in 2 people I overheard said something like "im going nuts tonight ect"

They didnt affect me but I saw it enough in other places this weekend

I was camped within a few ft of the orange campsite DJ and it was alright there. A few friends of mine were further up closer to the burger van near the gate and it was hell there.

Full of gangs of lads being absolute c**ts, stealing tents/chairs, burning canisters amongst other shit, jumping on tents and generally intimidating all the girls. Nearly got into a few scraps with a few but that would have been a waste of time. I don't think it's the area you camp in though, it's the people. You could have trouble wherever you go, it's just the luck of the draw.

I camped right at the far end of green, next to the fence before going into Brown, it was all fine there.. just people burning their own stuff.. big groups of kids/adults but all friendly and wouldn't steal anything i wouldn't have thought but i didnt leave after guns as well :)

I was right next to the orange funfair, opposite the ride on the far right. Last night our tents were the only ones not to get burned down, we were right next to the huge fire. The marshals walking around orange from 7 to 7 were kinda cool, they popped in to sit with us twice each to have a natter with us, one of the was called Kyle.

    • I'm 59. It's not so much the music as the camping/late night chaos I've grown out of at R+L. If I was still local to Leeds I might still be persuaded for a day ticket if the lineup was to my taste.
