I know i'm replying to whatever was said several pages back but I only came home yesterday :P

I'm young, i'm not dumb but I am living off mum. Which, i do appreciate.

Believe me, if i could, i would go out and get a job and my own place, but I don't want to be stuck in this same town for the rest of my life earning pennies and spending them on rent and bills with only a little bit of spending money left over to put some petrol in my car to drive to asdas or get excited for a local might as well be kareoke band in the pub.

However, because at the moment, i'm choosing to be at home, in the same bedroom as my 14 year old sister with hardly any spending money so I can go to college and hopefully university, I rekon i will have more financial security in the future than if I left home right now and got a job.

Now, i barely eat meals with the family. We always have sunday lunch together but on other days usually my mum and dad eat together and my nan and brother may eat with them. I always cook my own food. I don't think having dinner together every night is essential for 'family' time. We can have that in the car or in the adverts during corination street, or whilst making a cuppa tea in the kitchen.

I said religion, not religious. Not the flock. It's the people who manipulate the flock that get my goat. The idiots who believe any old rubbish that result in homophobia, hatred, things like that are only part of the problem, yes, but the real evil is those at the top.

So why such dislike for me ? So why you the constant questioning of me ? and why the constant accusations ? When I have always said I have no issues with gay people...

Its your constant questioning despite already being given the answers that we are calling fishing...

Wow, your not all that quick are you...

yeah you never mention a belief of christian leaders and assume oaf thinks the exact same.

i'd like to see a muslim come on here and you attack him the same way that you do a christian. you like the easy targets.

If you look carefully oaf has some good views about his own family values and traditions. I don't think he's saying that other peoples values are wrong, it's that it's his values he wants to install in his OWN children.

You shouldn't have a go just because he's religious.

Fair enough, some of his views on young people, work and politics grind on my nerves but he does have some good views on family values.

Surely for you to have a point here I have previously stated a different view on family values ?

And also for this to be true then you wouldn't of been responding to me over the last couple of weeks ?

As I've already said, I don't tend to much any more. This is the first time in a real long time. I care enough about the boards not to engage. I'd imagine if Oaf did likewise, then you wouldn't have so much of a problem, and nor would the others who have cleared off recently.

    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
    • Maybe some right wing leaders like Meloni are just playing to their base, like Reform have been here talking about them ending up at Calais.
    • Citizenship via investment programs basically work by saying if you invest this much in our economy (say buy a property worth x) then we will either grant you citizenship or residency with a route to it. The EU has rules on how low countries can set the bar. Montenegro was one of the easier ones to get and they've had to tighten it up.
