You perhaps. Not stifi or Phil though. It's just trolling and holier than thou for the most part nowadays, like langdale says

Ive never trolled with oaf, I just find many of his views offensive. Go through the discussion section of the boards and count how many threads I start, how many threads Sifi starts and how many oaf starts. If oaf wants to put up that many subjects for discussion, why is it trolling when people respond to what he's posted first? Then go through the individual threads and find how many people actually agree with the majority of oaf's posts. If you don't understand the subject, fair enough. But don't mistake educated and informed opinion for trolling just because you don't.

I think the expression means different things to different people..

To me it means:

• Two parents, married, committed to each other. The promotion of marriage to your children.
• Strong ethics which you install into your children
• Strong sense of family - aka do things together, eat together, support each other
• Take a great interest and interference in your kids life
• No sex before marriage (or at least a very committed relationship)
• expect manners, respect and discipline at all times
• No foul language

That sort of stuff...

I see so many families these days that operate very few of these and its sad...

Why do I have to be married to give my daughter a strong sense of ethics?

Why do I have to be married to take a great interest in my daughter's life?

What has sex before marriage got to do with the price of fish?

Why is it ok for you to use foul language as frequently as you do but not someone else? Is there a particular age when effin and jeffin becomes acceptable? And if there is, why is it so unacceptable before that age?

Why is a strong committment to family important? I have no contact wioth my family and have never been happier.

ampersand - here we have an example where oaf has posted something and Ive questioned what he's posted. Ive questioned what he's posted because my daughter this week and greenfairy's before, amongst many others, have shown that raising children outside of the traditional nuclear family vision that oaf suggests can be equally successful. He has replied by saying I remind him of a girl in Animaniacs. Who would you say was the troll in this situation?

To nick pit at mine is fine but its kind of a bit pointless... Mine come from a mixture of religion and my conservative opinion... I don't expect you lot to understand them...

It's an important issue. Especially considering the church's adoption agencies refusing to play ball ; the Christians refusing to allow children in their care to be adopted by a gay couple.
