Bag Checking, security

My first time at leeds and was wondering how proper they check your bags when going in. do they look for drink and check it or what? or do they just glance and let you in?

do they care if your underage and taking drink in? will they just take it off you?

Never had my bag searched at all

If you've got glass or aerosols on show as you walk in they may search you but other than that I've never heard of or seen anyone ever being searched

People do get searched. Just like 1 in 10 or something like that. Its never that rigorous though.

I've been the last 10 years and never been searched.

I got searched on the way into Reading last year.

Just had a look through my bag, my deodorant was rolled up in my sleeping bag and i had a glass bottle of JD inside a blanket in my bag and they didnt notice =/

The bigger problem isn't getting onto the site, it's the police and sniffer dogs at the train station. They set up about 3/4 mini tents to conduct searches and as soon as one is empty the officer in their tent will go out and get another person to search.

Still very little chance of being picked out in a crowd though.

I was fine last year, he seemed more concerned about this plastic case in my bag rather than the beer. You'll be fine.
