Didn't get too involved with the food this year. The sun combined with loads of booze and I lost my appetite by Friday afternoon. Just picked at snacky stuff after that really. I've actually lost weight this year.

Still managed some Tartiflette potatoes and a red wine sausage though. Yum.

Found my favourite place again. It's called "Voted the Best Hog Roast in the UK" and deservedly so! £5.50 for a big soft hoagie stuffed with shredded pork, stuffing, apple sauce (not that that's my thang) and topped with salty crackling. I went there twice, which is only half as many times as last year :lol:

I'm actually still craving it now.

oooh, just discovered they've got a website and you can hire them. Tempting!

This is what the stall looks like (photo from their website):

And it was on the T-junction as you go from Orange chill'n'charge to the Pyramid.

Another vote for the merguez and goat's cheese bourek in West Holts - yum yum. The veggie Mexican in the Park - had huge bowl of yummy nachos on Sunday lunchtime. Lovely plate of what felt like very healthy curry from Manic Organic (first ever visit in 3 years). The HUGE samosas (3 for £5 - bargain!) from Asian Grub Foundation between the Other Stage and the Glade. Had pakoras from Bhatti Wrap (?) opposite the Blazing Saddles stage that were delicious but everywhere time we passed hoping for a wrap the queue was massive. My boyfriend thinks the hog roast mentioned above is amazing and converted my brother and his mate who went twice over the weekend!

Had a lovely Lebanese mezze from up at the park, a crocodile burger was tasty and also a lovely roll last night with grilled haloumi, chilli sauce, mayonnaise and lovely crisp fresh salad leaves. Delicious.

For the first time, tried a growler. f**king disgusting.

    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
