Tankus the Henge... awesome newish band I've seen a few times. They've recently got some sort of record deal, and are playing FIVE sets at Glasto. They're great fun live, and for all you early arrivers they're playing at 1pm on Wednesday - should be a top way to kick things off!

Greenpeace stage

Had never heard of or seen this band before when we caught the end of their set on Thursday at Greenpeace by just walking past>Decided to see their entire set at Fluffy Rock at PM same day. Loved them and left humming the odd tune.

They would have gone down as my favorite moment, however we made the effort to see/stalk them on Friday at Fluffy Rock, and hopefully one of you reads this because having spoken to you about plugging your stuff down our way on the Thursday night YOU WERE UTTERLY SHITE. The sound man did you no favors but the self confessed pissed trumpet player was staggeringly bloody awful. Having grown so miserable watching this appalling unprofessional gig it took all my will power not to approach you with my thoughts, after all why ruin your vibe like you had mine, but i also got the feeling some of you were rather ashamed at what had just happened.

I saw them at the Fluffy Rock cafe but i have no idea what day it was. They were really quite good, the trumpet player seemed really out of it haha

That's such a shame because I caught their last song on Saturday, and the whole set in the Fluffy Rock Cafe on Sunday and the vibe in the tent was infectious and energetic. Everyone was up on their feet by the end of the gig, and while the band did look slightly grizzled by that point, I couldn't fault the playing at all. I heard about them via a friend who saw the Greenpeace gig, and I gathered they have a reputation for their live shows, so maybe on that Friday they'd just had no sleep or a bit TOO much fun the night before.

I saw them at fluffy rock and greenpeace i thought they were FANTASTIC!

Although the sound at the fluffy rock cafe was worse...i would blame the soundman. I had a chat with a couple of the band including the trumpet player and i thought they were really lovely guys, the trumpet player wasn't drunk at all! Maybe just a bit fatigued by the hot weather. I would like to see them next year on a bigger stage and will definatly be checking them out .
