Queuing at the gates

Last year I arrived by car at 7am; waited along with many others outside on the road and was let in to the car parks at 8ish. We were in one of the furthest parking fields, and had a longish walk to the pedestrian gate/wristband exchange.

My guess is that the overnight parking will be a long walk from the wristband exchange.

Also, I would imagine that unless its pouring with rain then people will start walking from the car park towards the queue at the gates quite early - 5 or 6ish I would guess.

And if the route from car park to gates is closed off then there will be queue for that too IYSWIM.

I mean let face it, nobody is going to be able to sleep in the car. It'll be far too uncomfortable and far too exciting.

I enquired with the festival office about the possibilty of a pregnant friend being let from her car to our campervan. They said that only vehicle gates would be open and no-one could move from field to field, as people walking through those vehicle gates is a breach of the licence.

    • I read the Kerrang review and they didn’t seem overly positive. The definition of a 6 out of 10.
    • Interesting the stat guys say 3 points and -3 goal difference is where it gets to 50/50 territory in terms of going to the last 32. If Scotland lose their last 2 at best they are on -1, play like they did yesterday and they could take a heavy loss.   However thinking about it positively get 4 points from the last 2 games and the group is won! Have heard a few saying Scotland should just park the bus next 2 games, but not sure they have the players to do it. From my perspective they could really do with a decent defensive midfielder to add balance, but not sure if they have one in the squad. They also need significantly more from Mctominay who I thought was poor, but understand he has been unwell.
    • Yup and they aren't all going to get them, some are going to miss out. Speaking of this, I met someone at RIP who went to RFP and his view was band wise it's value for money but it wasn't a festival itself he'd be rushing to return to. In fairness as well he probably liked more of the headliners there than me this year whereas I was more undercard and he wasn't returning.
    • Maybe Starmer's legacy will be a war with Russia.
