you haven't titled this thread correctly. it should be 'SCUM OF THE EARTH 2' or 'return of the scum'

HANGINGS TO GOOD FOR THEM, GIVE ME A GUN, WHERE'S THE HORSES? and other such over the top remarks.

Next time write to the Daily Mail. they love headlines like this

why are people so ridiculously OTT about things like this? it's not like the girl has bought 100,000 tickets rendering it impossible for anyone to get one via the proper means and she can therefore hold the world to ransom?

She can't go, she's put it on ebay and the market has dictated that people are willing to pay a high price for a ticket to a brilliant weekend.

'Scum', grip shop is that way Mark Davo. Two for one offer, get in there quick.

I really don't see what the problem is.. she might not be able to go now due to un-forseen circumstances and someone who looks remotely like her may be begging for a ticket..

Why report her? Is it really going to ruin everyone else festival..

If i hadnt got a ticket id bloody well be trying to find one somehow!

Unfortunately thats not how things really work is it..

Why set a price when people may actually bid higher.. because you're a good person? If I could make a profit after feeling gutted about not going I would do. Oh well maybe i'm scum..

;)

jameshunt is talking perfect sense here and he's to be commended for doing so.

She's touting. One of the very things the festival has worked hard to eradicate. The festival has said many times that tickets should not be put on ebay - if she WASN'T touting, she would have put it as a 'buy-it-now' at face value. But even then she'd have been in the wrong for putting it up in the first place.

The ticketing R&Rs might be a bit 'incovenient' but they're there for OUR safety and comfort. Remember that next time some low-life gets through the gates via a touted ticket and decides to cause trouble/rob from tents etc etc.

It gets worse and worse. She's lying, or at best is badly mistaken, and of course won't refund the buyer.

"As you can see. the picture on the ticket is of a white, blond female - the picture is very small and not too clear and the stewards don't really look anyway, but if you don't look the same, a hat and a pair of sunglasses should help.

I can't offer a refund for any refused entry"

I don't agree with mass touting, but like others have said it's not like she is doing it for any reason other than because she can't go. Sure she could sell it at face value, but there has been ample opportunity to get a ticket over the past 8 months and it's the price you pay for not planning ahead. Basic microeconomic principles.

It's better somebody else has an incredible weekend for an (inflated) price than someone not have it at all. The people paying £400 for it can probably easily afford to.

As you can see. the picture on the ticket is of a white, blond female/man in drag - the picture is very small and not too clear and the stewards don't really look anyway, but if you don't look like 'a bit of minger', a hat and a pair of sunglasses should help.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
