Does anyone know a short cut to the site from the west?

Last year we spent far too long stuck in a queue on the A361 after exiting the M5. We chose to travel very late on Wednesday evening to avoid the queues but we still got held up for ages.

Does anyone know of a route from the M5 to the west car parks that avoids the village of Glastonbury and will save us some time?

Any advice most welcome, thanks.

We went through the back roads letting the sat nav direct us, have a look on google earth / google maps and plan your route

I think we're leaving the M5 at J21 instead of J23 and going via Cheddar (ish) hence approaching from the North.

It worked well for the mates we're travelling with last year.
