i think Mr Eavis should get an M.B.E for services to music and charity .

i know hes got an C.B.E but i reckon this year as its the 40th year of glasto which we all love[ don't we] he should get a little prezzy from the queen as well !!!

ahh thanks for pointing this out to me only put it as a fun thread i even looked m eavis up on wikipedia. thats how i new he had a C.B.E

so its a knight hood then cool bonos got one of those so M/E should have

Non-British people can be knighted, they just can't put Sir in front of their name. I think they need to do something pretty exceptional to get it too as it doesn't happen to often I don't think.

I say ME for Order of the Garter, there are only 7 of them at any one time and you need to do something amazing for the country to be able to join. I think ME would qualify on that count!

I have absolutely no idea how I know either of these facts.
