That sucks mate, alot of people I know are in that situation too, including my mate who's been to every Download with me. Been entering competitions left right and centre trying to win tickets to get some of my skint mates to come along.... If I end up winning loads of them I'm sure I could give you one, but unfortunately I don't think it'll be like Sonisphere last year!

Right, with just a few short weeks remaining I thought I'd step up and sort this out....

Probs best left just me seeing as we're not exactly booking seats :D

So Im aiming for the bunch of people circling each other, looking like they want to speak to each other but not actually doing it... OK :D

Where?? (or have I missed this bit?) By the campsite entrance in the village? By somewhere quiet-ish (relatively speaking) like the pharmacy so that the internet hanging around not quite knowing who to talk to peeps stand out more? LOL

And second, i feel slightly weird when meeting people off a forum. I done it in reading for a BBQ with melvin benn for the official forums and meeting people there was just plain weird.

Although you guys seem pretty damn alright so if i remeber i will try my best to come down.

Greetings all yet again!

I'm working f**king loads at the moment so have had little time to jump online. This is my last halfr day off before the fest and im in at work setting up some damn projector and audio equipment for the world cup.

The 9pm timeslot does seem a little late so i might have to steady myself. Which is highly unlikley tbf.

Lith, i'll message you my number so you can harrass me/remind me on the thursday if you could be so kind.

I'll see you punks on the thursday! if not before wandering lost around the site.

btw, f**k all your criminal minds and what not. CSI is way cool. ha!

      I guess we'll just have to wait until videos of the shows go up, but the fact that the standing is also greyed out still suggests to me that those sections just sold out out before the others and a blue block just be like 3 tickets left, it's still not concrete proof they never went on sale and if they were never on sale why would they not make it even, if 414 wasn't on sale then you'd think 409 wouldn't be either

      I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
