Hardened drinkers are notorious for drinking just about anything put in front of them, or for that fact even if hidden or locked away!!

Its about the same as far as I recall. You can get a stronger Guinness. We actually have to import it from Nigeria, as we dont brew it here! It sells like hot cakes in Nigeria and I think its the number one selling beer there. As we have seen a large increase in inward Immigration from Nigeria over the last 10 to 15 years or so we have had to meet the demand for this beer and so import Guinness..........sounds mad doesnt it? In fact the largest Guinness brewery in the world is based in Nigeria..........

FYI Guinness Foreign Extra Stout: 7.5% and sells as 8% in Singapore...........nows thats festival strength stuff!

What is even worse is that the the wort is shipped from Dublin to Nigeria and the finished Foreign extra is then shipped back! Tis a lovely brew though.

Problem is I dont know how easy it is to get in the UK and even if you can get it it will most likely be in bottles only............cans of the stuff are very rare if they still exist.........so bringing it to Glasto would be tres difficult

actually, i heard the euro took a kicking yesterday. is now a good time to exchange?

The euro is taking a hammering lately!

No I reckon they may have thought "postage to Ireland is more expensive and why pay more to send goodie bags to a place we dont even have a market in?"

dunno if you know your stuff, but i'm wanting to get euros for july. you reckon now's a good time to get them or should i hold off in the hope that it keeps getting a hammering?
