Hi,

I was wondering if anybody knows how many Lunar Cycles it is until the gates open, 08:00 Wednesday 23rd June 2010??

I know its 54 Days 7 Hrs.... Which is 7Weeks 5 Days & 7Hrs... About 4693274Seconds, and 55 Sleeps, Which I keep informing me Facebook Friends

However I have no idea how to work out how many Lunar Cycles it is

(Not that im an obsessive Glastobater or anything )

I know the average lunar cycle is 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes and 2.9 seconds. I just dont know how to factor that in to say its 1.975 Lunar Cycles till gates open.

What do I need to do....?

Well, Taz_on_something anyways However,

Good approximation (at least I think it is): 3 * [number of seconds to go] / 7654330

i.e. just now it's 3 * 4690500 / 7654330 = 1.838371223 Lunar Cycles

Alternatively just divide [number of seconds to go] by whatever the "official" length of the Lunar Cycle is in seconds and Robert is your mother's brother and all that !

... although quite why anyone would *really* want to know that is a tad beyond me just now

not sure what you mean:

a lunar cycle is = 29.53059 days so just divide the number of day left etc..

or are you asking how many full moons are there? (+ full cycle in between)

Full moon:

April 18th

May 17th

June 15th
