How about it? Anyone think so? He's doing the main stage of warped tour so should be free, and touring again. I see no reason for him to not be on the lock up. Here's hoping!

It's all about the live performance. Whatever someone's views on Andrew WK'S music, there can be absolutely no doubt the man is one of the best frontmen of the last 10-20 years. Absolutely unreal passion, energy and charisma. I've never known anyone to go to an AWK show and not have a great time.

Hadn't even thought about that! But yes, that would also be excellent! He can wrestle a chair again. But I'm more concerned with him actually playing, and with his band, not solo! It's been 8 years since Mr. WK was last here!

This would make my life. Literally. I saw him live in London at Kings College last year and let me tell you it was the by far and away the best gig I've ever been to. Ever. Anyone who was there can testify to this. The man is a living legend and would be absolutely perfect in opening the main stage. Perhaps not as a lockup headliner but it would still be incredible.

There's a very strong chance he'll play imo. He's on Warped Tour which always helps, not to mention this is the first time in 6 years he's got a full band. There was a big campaign to get him to play Download but he confirmed he's not doing that (no space apparently). Also OfficialRandL had him on their Follow Friday a while back. A lot of those end up playing. He's done Reading before so who knows?

I'd love to see him. I'd like him to clash with blink, but i cant really see that happening. Early mainstage would be good as he probably wouldn't clash with anyone I wanna see. Can't see the atmosphere being as good as in the lock up though.

Isn't the main stage just about full now? I think there might be room for one more band on the blink day, but otherwise that's it I think. I guess he could also be early-ish on the nme but that seems less likely. I think the best bet is in the top 2 or 3 on the lock up. Those live videos are incredible.
