I've only been watching for some 14 minutes now and already John Virgo's commentary has annoyed me.

John Higgins v Barry Hawkins

Mark King v Steve Davis

Neil Robertson v Fergal O'Brien

Marco Fu v Martin Gould

.....................................

Ali Carter v Jamie Cope

Joe Perry v Michael Holt

Ding Junhui v Stuart Pettman

Shaun Murphy v Gerard Greene

.....................................

Stephen Maguire v Stephen Lee

Peter Ebdon v Graeme Dott

Mark Allen v Tom Ford

Ryan Day v Mark Davis

.....................................

Mark Selby v Ken Doherty

Stephen Hendry v Zhang Anda

Mark Williams v Marcus Campbell

Ronnie O'Sullivan v Liang Wenbo

Mark Selby (8/1) and Mark Williams (10/1) who's been rolling back the years look like decent bets outside of O'Sullivan and Higgins. An each way on Shaun Murphy (14/1), Stephen Hendry (40/1), or Mark Allen (16/1) could also be worthwhile

OMG... O LORDY f**kIN MAMA..... i`m shocked to the core... Just seen Alex Higgins!

He is a coffin with clothes on. He looks absolutely f**ked. He`s only 61 too.

Drink, smokes, life-style, temperament...all have taken their toll.

Quite sad.

Great to see!! Delighted. :P Superb match and lovely to see him so happy in the post match interview. He reverted to a child like state! No chance of him beating Higgins though.

Ronnie talking shit again.

Yeah--was great wasn`t it--i missed Family Guy for that!!

Just shows you though eh.... how age changes your attitude..image him 20yrs ago doing a little jig like he did when that white moved a full ball towards the red?

And then talking to the ref while setting the balls up.

I want him to win now... cos he seems vunerable.. on the baize that is.

And dont mention Higgins... I woke up at 4am this morning--on the settee--i`d pissed mesell.... when i glanced over---your f**kin pics of Higgins and that Monkey were right in me face...i must have pissed mesell in me sleep.

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
