Coach and entrance ticket combination.

My friend, the idiot, overslept on the day of the resale despite months of being reminded that tickets would sell out quickly. When he finally rose and turned on his computer the only tickets remaining were coach and entrance tickets. Naturally he bought one of these costing him more than standard entry.

Anyway unfortunately he was only able to get one that leaves at 7.30am Wednesday morning from London. As we both currently reside up north this would be massively inconvenient. My question is: if you have one of these coach/ticket combinations is it necessary go on the coach or can you just make your own way down and use your ticket as normal?

As far as I'm aware, if you buy a combo ticket you MUST be on the coach, as they'll hand out tickets onboard.

That's how it worked last time we did it. The coach puls over half way to the site and you get our ticket then.
