I read somewhere that after they release their self titled album again they plan on the Reading and Leeds tour they will only play tacks from that album and nothing else!!

To me this sounds awesome, I have had the pleasure of seeing queens 3 times over the years and I will never tire of them and I love the sound of this almost taking back to their roots, plus the self titled was a brilliant album. Just wanted to see what you guys made of it

are they re-releasing their self titled album?!

as awesome as this sounds it would be good to have a mix or there stuff played..even if this means they play some of their newer stuff.

where have you heard this from?! that they will only be playing that album at leeds/reading?!

". In a 2010 interview, Josh Homme revealed that the band would re-release their self-titled first album, and that they would do a tour in support of this, only playing songs from their first release." from wiki

for L/R I can imagine them playing mainly from the album, but hits as well - ie, i dont think theyd just play from it. either that or a normal set.

Well hommes was meant to re realease it last year but got held back so he's doing it this year now before summer with Reading/Leeds. This I've know for a while so that's def happening, they said earlier that they wanted to kind of go back to what there really about that's why there doing the re release and possible touring just playing all there old school songs. The only evidence I can find to support all this is wikipedia I'm sorry to say as we all know they are most def not gosple lol! If I come across something a bit more legit then I'll share but how awesome would this be if the touring thing is to be believed, I wouldent say it's not possible ghis is something hommes would do though

I think they’ve been pretty average since Nick Oliveri left.

Whilst this will be certainly better than the ‘usual’ performance, no doubt we’ll still walk away to LCD Soundsystem [or the FR headliner] disappointed, and wishing he'd return. :P

(....and yes I know Oliveri didn’t play on the record)

there is nothing inherently special about the number 10.

Besides, the reason its being re-released is because it was on a small indie label when first brought out, re-releases are to essentially re-promote and start shifting more units.

Rated-R sold very well in the uk and is still selling.

their performance in 08 gets alot of stick on here but I personally enjoyed it, I think I was just happy to be there :P

my friends left to watch does it offend you, yeah? on the fr stage so I guess they thought it sucked aswell, but I genuinely thought they were awesome and I'm well chuffed that they're back this year!
