V fest is so commercial hence why it'll never have as good a atmosphere as Reading or Leeds, Reading and Leeds is cull of passion for bands older albums aswell as new. Vs two headliners show how commercial it is. Kol didn't go Down well at Reading purely becuase they didn't play enough from aha shake heartbreak or youth and young manhood. Having cheryl cole at v sums it all up

did both reading & v last year and doing both this year despite saying i'd never go back to v...

reading wins hands down for atmosphere but v has an impressive lineup,if not a little mainstream. and if u search hard enough you find atmosphere, saw the streets in the arena which was immense!!!

reading wins but v's worth the laughs i reckon :P

yes if you want teenagers running around burning stuff, throwing gas cannisters on tents, turning over toilets and being a pain in the arse as its theref irst weekend without mummy....then go to reading/leeds.

commercialised? there both very commercialised, but vast majority of festivlas is all about advertising. even glastonbury is commercialised to a certain extent.

and for someone who has been to all the major ones, I would say they are on a par for atmosphere. I personally find it very strange when people say r/l has a fantastic atmosphere, it did in the 90s but not now its become the trendy one to go to.

some years r/l has better lineups, some years v does. last years r/l won hands down, but this years v wins hands down. although rock werchter lineup is even better.
