What's your source? I was sure I had heard that they were likely to be playing TITP as well, which is definitely in the UK. If it is an exclusive I will be very dissappointed - not just because I love their music but because the last time they played on the Other Stage was one of my favourite Glasto performances ever and I would love to see them there again.

Apparently the Melvin was pretty excited about the fact that they are an exclusive...

Just what i've heard...

The person we had at the launch last night told us that Melvin mentioned something about B&S being exclusive.

However, the press release doesn't say that. Given that the press release is exceedingly likely to have been checked by Melvin personally, Melvin being a big fan of bigging up his exclusives, and that they'd be comeback from the written word but which would be far less likely from the spoken word, I'm siding with the lack of mention in the press release as being the correct version, until such time as there's something to better clarify which it is.

always meant to when it was at reading (doorstep) but never got round to it

mateof mine went the 1st year it moved (who'd been going for years) and hated it, put me right off

nice is it?

Ahh yes, the year that was WOMUD - it made the muddiest Glastonbury look like a sunny summer's day. I guess that's why he hated it.

Thru the arboretum is a beautiful way to enter the arena, with a stage within too that (from your photo) which appears to at least match the Latitude stage yoiu were on about.

Outside of that it's much like most festie sites really - big open spaces.

I have just bought tickets for Latitude (thru Efestivals). Is it a good festival ?

I saw somewhere that it only holds 25000 but I got tickets easily. Is this a reflection on how good it is ? i.e not that popular to sell out quickly.

I am sure I will have a great time, just wondering what the vibe is like there.

Just because I'm a glutton for disappointment I am going to go with Neil on this one. Why would you ever secure an exclusive, particularly with a "comeback" band of genuine popularity, and NOT want to advertise the fact. Other Stage headliners I reckon, or sort of 2nd/3rd on the Pyramid for B & S.
