Which would be the best camping field to camp for first time glasto-ers?

SORRY FOR REPOSTING, I WASN'T GETTING ANY RESPONSE IN THE QUESTIONS SECTION.

Which would be the best camping field to camp for first time glasto-ers?

We're all 17 and there's 2 boys and a little lady. I cant say we'll be very quiet late at night once we roll into our tents, but we will be quiet in the morning. We don't mind too much of a walk back to the camp area.

Any advice would be great, thanks.

Depends very much on what you're after, what sort of music you like, how you're going to be arriving (ie will you be arriving at the festival bus station or by car - and from the east or west. It's such a huge site that where you arrive is likely to dictate to some extent where you camp, as it takes an hour, without any bags or tents and no distractions to walk from one end of the site to the other. If you're lively and want to be life and soul of the party, places like Pennards and the camping areas that overlook the Pyramid Stage would be good choices, as would the area around the Dance Field and Other Stage (Oxlyers). It also depends what day you'll be arriving too, as some of the areas are popular and will fill up quickly. I like to camp at Oxlyers personally, as it's close to the West car parks, you can see and hear the Other Stage from your tent, the Pyramid, Dance and Park Stages are all close by and the railway track which takes you to the Green Fields and Arcadia/Trash City is close at hand too, plus there's plenty of toilets and food nearby.

Pennards, however, would be a bit ambitious, unless you're feeling athletic!
