Glasgow101
Just wondering whats the best way to travel from Glasgow to the Isle of wight. Should I get a flight to somewhere like bournmouth? I have no idea! What price will the ferry be? Can somebody give me a rundown of what to expect at the festival? Thanks in advance
steamin'-mcnab
Take the sleeper on Wed night, gets you to London for 7/8ish? then a train to portsmouth, ferry from p-mouth to ryde, then the bus to the sight, thats how I done it 3 years ago
Jake64
Probably quickest (and cheapest if you book soon) to get a flight from Edinburgh to Southampton, then jump on the ferry from there. If you don't mind changing flights at Manchester, flybe (www.flybe.com) are offering a return (flying 0930hrs Thursday 10th returning 1100hrs Monday 14th) for £9.77 plus taxes.
