2 out of our 5 have cancelled (due to GCSE exams on the Friday)...it's a pity we can't transfer them, as my brother & his mate want to go...but i don't think 2 x 50-ish males could pass off as 2 x 15 yr old girls by any stretch of the imagination (even if they wore tutu's!) :P

I've been ringing repeatedly the past week to try to get a single ticket for one of my brothers. Obviously different See story every time but they've generally been consistent in saying that if there's any resale it will be after the early May cancellation deadline.

That said, interestingly, one of the chaps I spoke to today said they'd been having lots of cancellations recently. Wouldn't put a figure on it though. Perhaps some of the moaners on these boards complaining about the line-up! Anyway, gives me hope for my brother..

The deed is done, have cancelled my three tickets....bit gutted about it. I know next year though not to trust so called mates, who pulled out. At least i will get all my ticket money back as there paying any deductions. I know you will all say why did you not come on your own, done that in the past and its not for me. So my other half has booked us a two week holiday in Cyprus, she can't stop smiling now. I am hoping though to get tickets now for Paul McCartney in Cardiff as i can squeeze that in just before we go away, and at least she will come to that. Enjoy your Glastonbury....I hope to be back next year.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
