A little number for the barking bard Billy Hague

I sacked a miner

I sacked a docker

I sacked a railway man

in eighty-four

I raised two families

my wifes and my mistresses

With chums at the stock-exchange

since eighty-four

I smashed the union and as times got harder

I counted my bonuses and ****ed the working man

And I brought prosperity down at the armoury

"We're arming the police me boys"

Since eighty-four

Thank god for Idiots for they kept voting

Not for equality but for tax cuts and cash

Now mine is a land with a wall around it

And you can go and **** yourself my fellow man

Mine is a land of hope and glory

Plough up the green field and destroy the factory floor

Keep all the skies dark with bombers

For mine is the dosh we've made since eighty-four

Call up the craftsmen

Bring me the draughtsmen

Get them all jobs in call-centres now

And I'll give my consent

To Tory government

And they'll decide what is a living wage

Go find the young men never to work again

Bring up the shackles from the days gone by

Sweet renumeration

Heart of this nation

Man life's been good

since eighty four

What damage ?

My opinion of Ken went up enormously when I wrote a letter to all the major parties, local MP etc - most either didn't reply or sent me a standard bull, but he actually took time to address my questions and told me about all sorts of good stuff he was doing that somehow never made the Evening Standard (but then I never did trust a paper owned by The Daily Heil who upon Ken's election vowed to do everything in their power to get him ousted - so much for balanced journalism).

He took about 2 months to reply, but then I'd be worried if he had so little to do that I got a reply by return of post :P

Though I'm still not entirely conviced London needs a mayor.

Did Red Ken mention his wonderful bendy bus he put on the streets of London, the one’s that are nicked named the free bus, because hardly anyone pays. They are costing London over a million pounds a week in lost fares.

He said when he got to be major he wanted to finish The Evening Standard as a paper and also the London Taxi drivers.

Well he finished the paper as it’s gone free; it has also put a lot of the guys who sold the paper out of work. Well done Ken. Just because they printed stories about how much money he was wasting, like the time he got a cab from Blackpool to London.

Your right, London doesn’t need a major and if they do, it should be me :P

    • Out of interest (I could look but being lazy), do Mad Cool repeat that quickly? They only played last year
    • This basically!, it's about as clear as day they'll be there.
    • Yeah there is no down time, I'm still tired and over thinking from last weeks work. A big reality check this week. If you just do it for the money you always will.
