Tickets from $45 - seems about the going rate. Mind you, it is the US version of a "world tour", i.e. one date in Canada the rest in the US.........

My dad went 2 their Farewell tour 2009 and got in trouble from the steward for standing up cause it was all seated!

The Eagles were one of the first bands I got into and really loved as a "young 'un" (ok, it was 6 years ago...), and I really idolized them, unaware of the whole money scandal etc.

I managed to go see them back in 2006, and I thought it was great, but last year, I went to buy tickets for their show at Hampden, and at 9am, I clicked "Find Best Available" seats on Ticketmaster etc, got to the checkout and realised it was going to cost me over £200 for 2 tickets overall!

Now in all honesty, had it been a show in a small theatre, say the Hammersmith Apollo, or Edinburgh Playhouse, I would probably pay that right away. But how they can justify that for Hampden frickin' stadium... I decided not to buy the tickets, bought second-row Jackson Browne tickets for £40 each and had a far better time watching a far better artist (IMO).

I still like The Eagles but I don't think I'd ever pay that kind of money to see them. Then again, Glastonbury would avoid YOU having to pay that much to see them

Terrible band. They took the template for Americana and made a dull, black and white watered down pop version of it.

Hate them. Compared to say The Band or the Flying Burrito Brothers, they are simply horrid.

Fortunately, as has been said already, they are far too interested in chasing the almight dollar to be playing at Glasto. Good.

For the record, I do like the Song "Boys of Summer".
