Can you give any advice on setting up a food stall?

Hello all,

Friends and I are beginning to set up a small tea, toast and cake caravan to go around small festivals initially in Sussex. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on applying to festivals - the process and what information will be needed to book. We are still in the early stages and are finding it difficult to get in touch with organizers. Does anyone have any contacts in the Sussex area that would be willing to share? Also one of the questions we are facing when speaking to organizers is what size pitch we will need (are there standard sizes or are we expected to work out exact size requirements?). Any thoughts or advice will be so very gratefully received - thank you!
