They're playing Hard Rock Calling and apparently doing festivals, there's no reason they should be ruled out to play R/L. I know bands son't tend to do Hyde Park and R/L but based on how little big acts are currently touring it wouldn't surprise me if they broke this. Sunday Reading slot?

too soon for a repeat headliner at reading. metallica played 03 then 08, and green day played 04 and rumoured this year, means its loosley speaking a 5/6 year turnover.

of course obviously theres no proof that they stick to this rule. but id imagine the promoters tend to give it about that time before a headliner returns to keep things fresh.

so that means iron maiden in 2011? :P
