They need to change or they will lose the appeal, The festival will still sell out but for how long? They need to start attracting the real music fans back instead of the trend followers.

I really really hope so. I've never seen Kiss & although I'm no super fan you don't get to play stadiums for 30 years straight for being a shit live act.

Last year a number of people I know who have only ever been to V & would previously have never dreamed of going to another festival went to Leeds (Arctics, Kaisers & KOL being the main reason)

If you look at past Reading/Leeds lineups, it's quite clear that they've always booked the latest "popular alternative" music. Currently, "indie" is having its day, just like nu-metal and hard rock have done in the past. I think they'll continue this way, adapting as the "alternative" market does.

Ill play ps2 games for sure. Final fantasy XII and FFVII DC will be out close to the ps3 launch so Ill be preoccupied with them. Also there are so many good ps2 games so my ps3 will be playing ps2 games quite a bit.
