Tickets never get "lost in the system" do they?

For some reason, even tho we have the confirmation and the money has come out of my account, I cannot shake the paranoid fear of my tickets somehow getting "lost" in the machine so to speak.

Anyone ever hear of that happening?

I just dont wanna go thru all the gargantuan planning needed to get us to the other side of the world for this thing and end up stuck at the gate.

I've never heard of it - you have you confirmation number, email and the money has debited you account - happy days

Have you paid the whole balance - if only the deposit don;t forget to pay the rest

And then the next hassle is waiting for your ticket to arrive - are you collecting it or having it posted?

It can be stressful waiting for tickets, in 2008 international tickets were collected at the gates, not sure what the system was for this year, but you could ring See nearer the time and try to arrange to collect them in the UK.

We have had some pretty close calls with tickets being delivered on time, or at least it has felt close but has actually been a few days away.

In previous years (if I remember correctly) international tickets have been picked up but last year they were delivered by post so who knows with this year. I can totally understand you wanting to be in the UK a few days before. Not sure if it is possible but do you know anyone in the UK that you could get the tickets delivered too and pay them a visit for a couple of days before the festival.

    • Solid list...  but i must ask?  are you excluding Lime Garden & Tomora as you didn't like them or is it that you havent listened to them?
    • It was Brooklyn last year, and I seem to remember a Guinness tent
    • That leaker off Instagram was saying earlier this year that Nickelback are doing a tour with Broco and Wargasm, but no evidence as yet
    • Gojira are unoficially confirmed by the organisation at Hellfest since last December already.   Slayer was supposed to be this year as a Mainstage 2 headliner at the place of Volbeat for a thrash day but negotiations fell off. Very likely to be there next year.    MCR I didn't know about but it fits well with Hellfest's desire to keep one day as more punk/rock orientated.    Europe are a confirmed headliner for Sweden Rock 2027. They will not headline HF but we may seem them on the bill. I am very curious who will be the legacy bands next year at HF. There was some backlash after 2025 and a bit of a return to heavier metal on the bill in 2026 - e.g. Gatekeeper on the main stage. The only considerable legacy acts I see coming (if they are in Europe) and haven't been at HF for a while are Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Slash, FFDP (if you count them as legacy), ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I really hope they manage to pull sth big for the 20th anniversary like AC/DC.
