it will be interesting to see how the line up goes this year. will it be a top act from each of the last 40yrs? or will michael&emily eavis just go for it and invite every major band/artist in the world?

Ok perhaps U2 was mistake.. And the feeling (although they do write good pop melodies) .

Rather than coming up with 40 fresh acts perhaps we can keep this going and bump it as a game to countdown! To the festival...

1) Drop one act from my list either if you don't think they would be playing, ruled themselves out, or

you don't want them there

2) Add one of your own that have (a) played glasto before ( still able to play / reform © haven't

rulled glasto out. Perhaps mark it with a asterix or something to show what you have added, and maybe

a line or two about the reasons for it (if you want)

Perhaps by the time the festival line up emerges we may have a definative list to compare with the

actual 40 that have been suggested.
