My mate did work experience for NME once and had to do research for a story, so he posted something on these forums, or used something Neil posted on here as an exclusive (his story was told over a few pints).

By all accounts NME refused Neil's request to ammend/remove the story they printed with, stolen from here (or something along those lines)

Basically, don't listen to NME.

I'd go & see them play if they are booked for next year, however, they are greedy b$$$$$$$ & should have played ages ago. They wouldn't play next year except it's the 40th Ann & now they will cause their MASSIVE ego's will be boosted by playing such a prestigious event.

These guys insist on getting paid loads of ££$$££ for a concert & haven't played in the past cause of the lack of funds they'd receive. Now the billionaires (well, virtually any way) can ride triumphantly into town with their massive ego's & play the biggest event of next year. We can't wait to see you Mick & Co!
