Surely Justice, Soulwax and Leftfield should be classed as dance acts?

Friendly Fires are nothing special IMHO, seen them a couple of times. Lead singer thinks he's Freddy Mercury.

Kasabian, Maximo Park and Franz Ferdinand can just f**k right off. ;)

I want the Sunshine Underground and The Music to play next year. Indie-ish with a dance edge--they'd both go down an absolute storm at Rockness.

Id be happy if Soulwax/2ManyDJs werent on the bill next year for a wee change.

Lol @ "Djs who have their own tunes". Wtf kind of catagory is that.

Anyway.

Leftfield

Faithless

Royksopp

Kraftwerk

LCD Soundsystem

Massive Attack

Moby

PortisHead

Would all be good for that " Big name act thats been around for a while" that underworld and orbital covered. Well , I know i and alot of the board would be happy with most of those acts (Kowalski dont spunk yourself at the thought of LCD SS playing  ).

Not bad although no need to have Fatboy return. 2manydjs in his place and a whole DJ section needs to be added to your line up to go with "The DJs who have ther own tunes"! I like KOL but agree with your other judders lol Wouldnt mind seeing Lily Allen on there somewhere.

For whoever said Cuban Brothers do we really need to see them? I went to see what the fuss was about last year thinking they were some sort of band... what a suprise I got! Garbage!

Sorry, just thought it was odd that you were putting an act which headline the MUCH MUCH smaller Belladrum headlining Rockness. Bella is still amazingly cool.

This year didnt have a clue who the cuban brothers were and i would have missed them if me & my mates hadnt just been chilling on the hill. They were one of the highlights of my weekend, absolutely hilarious! If they do not appeal to you i suspect you have no sense of humour & no friends!

HEADLINERS - daft punk and justice (I knowjustice wouldnt headline mainstage bt it would be amazin to see them there)

then... david guetta (just for the new album)

erol alkan

mstrkrft

bloody beetroots

deadmau5

chem bros

felix da housecat

funk d'void

soulwax & 2many dj's

boys noize

annie mac

crookers

fake blood

busy p

chase and status

im not really a supporter of the indie thing at rockness.

and after dance valley this year I have been converted :) ... armin van burren for 2010... a 4 hour set on the friday night... epic :(

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
