how long will food keep for?

Hi

Im thinking of beringing some bacon and sausages for sandwiches in the morning, but i havnt got a cool bag.

Was thinking of freezing it 2nte, then pack it last min when i leave at around 8 oclock in the morning.

Will this keep until the saturday or will it gve me food poisening lol!

Also just wanted to know what other ppl are taking food-wise.

Im doing the same with the meat we're taking.... Also got another tip from efestival forum... take pitta breads... they stay fresher for longer!!!

Other than brekkie stuff... Im taking; crisps, nutrigrain bars, bananas, apples, potnoodles, crisps, crisps, few bits like sausage rolls and did i mention crisps!!!!!

Anything really thats easy and light to carry round or to eat while your at your tent or late at night; hence all the crisp!!!!!! :D
