long time lurker, first time posting!

so this is my second V, can't wait for it now, got a nice 6 man tent between 4 of us, gonna camp on green again. (green, may be a trek, but it's nice and mellow)

but i can't remember how the hell i got there last year, didnt take my sat nav. as a result, i got partially lost. this year i'm gonna take the sat nav. i got the postcode for Weston Park, do i use that, to a certain point, and then as soon as i see signs for V Festival ignore sat nav and follow the signs?

presume then the sat nav is going to bring you in via the m54 from shrewsbury way? if so you have a few options, get off the m54 on the a41 which will bring you into west car park, carry on a couple of junctions and come back on yourself via a5 west which will take you into east/south car park or get off the m54 early at telford and find the a5 heading east which will (if you go straight on at the roundabout that asks you to go right) take you into north car park.

I suspect the sat nav will tell you the first route and its certainly the easiest but west is a hell of a walk to the campsites, the 2nd route is a short walk from east/south to campsites but expect big traffic and the third is a bit hard to find but quick, no traffic.

Hope this helps!

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
