Looks like i'll be escorting my teenage daughter to V again this year.

Have Maztec made any arrangements to stop people throwing pints of piss into the crowd as was prevalent last year?

Sad to say that this ruined my enjoyment of last years festival

So glad I sold my Oasis tickets for wembley, my friend went instead. I thought it would be OK right up in the gods but she said they were throwing "beer" (bless her) and food, and they left by 9pm coz they couldn't be arsed!

I shan't be bothering with them at V I don't think (prob get in trouble for saying that!). Always was a Blur kinda gal )

Anyone caught throwing bottles of piss should be put into a stockade with a sign telling people what they have done and provide a target for the thousands of people that need somewhere to piss. They are scum and should be degraded and punished till they cry for mercy. What complete c**ts!

As I posted last year the organisers have a duty of care for all in attendance.

Some big banners around the venue, messages on the big screens and some quick action by the security guards would prevent most from participating.

As an aside why is it a criminal offence to urinate in eg; a high street doorway but acceptable to do so at 'V', where some would say the lack of toilet facilities positively encourages it?

Best thing to do is wear a mac with a hood. I have always done that when Im in the crowd, stops your hair getting piss in it. You can just wash the mac after.

I have no idea why people think its a good idea to do?? People just stand next to the twats and let them throw it. Maybe if people said something to them it would stop a few....
