Best thing to do is wear a mac with a hood. I have always done that when Im in the crowd, stops your hair getting piss in it. You can just wash the mac after.

I have no idea why people think its a good idea to do?? People just stand next to the twats and let them throw it. Maybe if people said something to them it would stop a few....

First off - I dont throw piss and don't condone it.

But what I would like you to do (the people saying security should act blah blah blah) is explain how security guards in front of the stage are going to stop people in the middle of a crowd of around 80,000 people throwing piss?

1. They can't see who's doing it

2. They have no means of getting to the offenders to chuck them out - their job is to stop people rushing the stage.

Do you serisouly expect V (one of the more poorly organised festivals) to lay on extra security to wander through the crowd looking for weeing people? They'd jack the ticket price up even more to cover the cost.

My advice is take action into your own hands or stop whinging. It's a part of every festival.

What's next? Asking people to stop moshing because they're pushing you while you're trying to watch band?

i agree with you that security cannot be expected to identify the offenders and thats why all the people around the throwers should do there bit.I can not believe thousands of people will stand in a field and let a couple of cowardly twats throw piss around!Give em a tap or give em to security(both is good) or is it only important when it hits you?You only have to do it a couple of times to end this sort of thing so come on peeps dont let em take the piss or give it!
